2X Girls LEFT ** After a year of planning and finding the perfect stud, our gorgeous KC registered Black and Tan cocker spaniel girl Effie, has self whelped her litter of cocker spaniel puppiesThis litter consists of 3 boys and 4 girls. Effie is our much loved family pet and can be seen with the pups. The pups have been brought up inside our house and are well socialised.They have regular handling from adults and children and are used to household noises. Effie is very much part of my family and lives inside my home, she is active and lives her walks and activities. When contacting me, please outline what kind of home you will be offering the puppy, i.e. are there children/other dogs at home? Do you have a garden? Are you home enough to train them especially in the puppy months? All potential new families are welcome to come to our home and see the puppies, and we will always endeavour to answer any queries that you have. Dad is the very handsome Chocolate and Tan Cocker Spaniel called Gunner. a copy of his pedigree certificate will be provided. Dad is also health tested ,These pups are stunning examples of the breed and no expense has been spared on the care of this litter. Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
