Description

8 beautifully bred cocker spaniel puppies are looking for new homes—7 bitches and 1 dog(6 bitches available).

This is the Mum(Alva) Harkenburn Cornglen Boom's 2nd and last litter.

Full Pedigree KC registered working cocker spaniel pups will make excellent working dogs, agility and family pets.

Both sire and dam have an extensive KC lineage. Health tested. Both Parents are active working dogs.

Dam is  Alva(KC name, Harkenburn Cornglen Boom), who is a great working dog, playful and full of character, very good with other dogs and children. Sire is owned by a friend a local breeder Auchendinny Gundogs his name is Sprout (KC name, Auchendinny Jelly Beans), he is very relaxed, great working dog and beautiful temperament. 

DOB:6/2/2026(ready on 3rd April)  they will be socialised with our other dogs, people, children and we spend a great detail of time toilet training so its 80% done for them going home.  We also do some crate training prioir to them going to forever homes. Viewings available from 8th March but happy to send images, live videos etc beforehand. Update Pups are KC registered, tails docked with certificates, 2 lots of worming complete - vaccine due 20th March along with vet check.

 

Each puppy will come with:

- 5 weeks of free pet insurance (Through Kennel Club).

- Initial vaccination

- Microchipped

- Vet health checked

- Wormed

- Puppy food

- Blanket with mothers’/sibblings scent

Safety Tips

Here are some tips to keep you safe whilst buying, selling or studding your dog.

  • Make sure you see the gun dog in person at the breeders location before you pay any monies.
  • Make sure you see the puppies with the Dam and possibly with the Sire if he is available.
  • Make sure you have checked all the paper is correct and checked the KC number and their dates of birth.
  • If something seems not right you can walk away, but make sure you ask lots of questions. Some examples could be: Did you breed the dog(s) yourself? Can I see where they were breed? Can I see the Dam? How old is the mother and how many litters has she had? Was the birth natural or C section? Can I see the farther? Does the dog in question have any health issues? Can you see the registration of the Dam and Sire? Will they be vaccinated and wormed before I purchase?
  • Always be vigilant and seek advice if you are unsure and ask for advice from a third party.
  • Only when you are absolutely sure about the dog and the breeder do we advise you go ahead with your purchase.
  • Buying a gun dog is YOUR responsibility so make sure you have done your homework about the breed of dog and the breeder who is selling. Don’t rush the process!
  • The breeder should give you the opportunity to see and handle all of the puppies in the litter, rather than the one you are buying.
  • The puppies should appear happy, healthily and inquisitive.
  • The breeder should not be selling puppies that are unwell or shows signs of illness like runny eyes or weakness or diarrhoea.
  • The breeder should only sell you the pup once they are 8 week old.
  • Make sure you see the puppies environment. Is the whelping pen clean? Do the dogs have clean water and food? All this helps you formulate your decision when purchasing the gun dogs in question.
  • Make sure you write up a contract to safe guard you and the breeder should your situations change.
  • Do not leave without the KC registration form. Make sure you have all the documents in your hand with the dog once payment is made.
  • Never buy a gun dog in a car park, always go to the breeder establishment.
