Safe arrival of 6 beautiful puppies. One girl reserved. Five boys available ( two of which are provisionally reserved). They have been health checked by our vets.

This litter has been well planned out so that both parents complement each other, giving the puppies a COI of 12.4%. The reason for the litter is to keep one for ourselves.


Their Fifth Generation Pedigree includes various FtCh, Danderw Druid, Argyll Warrior, several from the Maesydderwen breed line to name a few.


Sire is a keen retriever on land, water and through bramble, loves working in thick cover and is happy to work all day. He is part of his owners pick up team. Last season he did 80+ days ranging from Partridge - ducks. He is a very affectionate, biddable happy dog and does have the important off switch when needed.


Dam is happy to please. Loves going for long walks and being by my side either out in the garden or in the house. She adores cuddles on the sofa and being washed by our cat. We have done gun dog training/experience sessions which she loved and this has proved beneficial as we often walk through estates that have regular shoots so she is used to waiting for the guns to finish if they are shooting near the footpath. She has also flushed out several pricked Partridge that have been missed by the pick up team.

Dam has been given everything needed to help the developing puppies have the best start in life. Once the puppies are here they will be brought up using the Puppy Culture Method, which includes ENS, Early Neurological Stimulation. I will also be doing ESI, Early Scent Introduction. These methods help the puppies confidence, sets them up for their next step and reduces the chance of behavioural problems in the future. Puppies will be raised inside and used to the usual busy household noises.


The puppies will be KC registered, microchipped, vaccinated and parasite treated. They will also have 2kg of puppy food, scented blanket and toy.

Viewing available in person once the pups are five weeks old, however I can do WhatsApp videos earlier if required. A none refundable deposit of £300 will reserve your puppy. Safety Tips

Here are some tips to keep you safe whilst buying, selling or studding your dog.

  • Make sure you see the gun dog in person at the breeders location before you pay any monies.
  • Make sure you see the puppies with the Dam and possibly with the Sire if he is available.
  • Make sure you have checked all the paper is correct and checked the KC number and their dates of birth.
  • If something seems not right you can walk away, but make sure you ask lots of questions. Some examples could be: Did you breed the dog(s) yourself? Can I see where they were breed? Can I see the Dam? How old is the mother and how many litters has she had? Was the birth natural or C section? Can I see the farther? Does the dog in question have any health issues? Can you see the registration of the Dam and Sire? Will they be vaccinated and wormed before I purchase?
  • Always be vigilant and seek advice if you are unsure and ask for advice from a third party.
  • Only when you are absolutely sure about the dog and the breeder do we advise you go ahead with your purchase.
  • Buying a gun dog is YOUR responsibility so make sure you have done your homework about the breed of dog and the breeder who is selling. Don’t rush the process!
  • The breeder should give you the opportunity to see and handle all of the puppies in the litter, rather than the one you are buying.
  • The puppies should appear happy, healthily and inquisitive.
  • The breeder should not be selling puppies that are unwell or shows signs of illness like runny eyes or weakness or diarrhoea.
  • The breeder should only sell you the pup once they are 8 week old.
  • Make sure you see the puppies environment. Is the whelping pen clean? Do the dogs have clean water and food? All this helps you formulate your decision when purchasing the gun dogs in question.
  • Make sure you write up a contract to safe guard you and the breeder should your situations change.
  • Do not leave without the KC registration form. Make sure you have all the documents in your hand with the dog once payment is made.
  • Never buy a gun dog in a car park, always go to the breeder establishment.
