Stunning working Cocker girl

County / Town: Staffordshire

Description

One little girl left. A sweet, sassy, affectionate, funny little pup who knows she's got the brains and is not afraid to use them.

Bred from my own little health tested line. Auntie and nan (pictured in dog box) can also be seen at viewing alongside Mum, all superb spaniels that succeed in anything they do with full heart and willing trainable attitudes and rocksteady temprements, be it beating on shoots throughout winter(happy to show vids and pictures on request) or dog shows in Summer never failing to bring home the ribbons and a trophy or two.

Dad is the brown and tan dog shown. Kennel name Simulicious Born to be wild, out of slow coach keen as mustard and Popsydam chocolate delight from the long established and reputable Moorsbarrow Hall Farm Gundogs.

Pups were bred so I could keep one back for myself, but I can't say how much this little lady makes me wish I could keep two. Whoever has her is going to be very lucky and she will only go to the best of homes. She's set to be a serious little Spaniel in the right hands.

Pups bought up in a multi dog house hold and introduced to other dogs of all shapes and sizes. Well cuddled by lots of different adults and kids and given the absolute best start possible. Please feel free to contact me for futher info. Deposit Secures on viewing. Ready May 10th.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.

🧠 Final Thought

Buying a gun dog is your responsibility. Do your homework on both the breed and the breeder. Make sure your decision is informed, confident, and in the best interest of the dog.
