Description

We have one girl not yet taken from an exceptional litter of seven golden Working Cocker Spaniel puppies, from health tested parents. The puppies were born and are being raised in our family home and are used to the bustle of busy family life with children. The puppies are having the best care and are very well handled and socialised.

The mum, Wilma, is our beautiful golden cocker who is very loving, bright, biddable and extremely eager to please. She is fantastic around people and other animals, and loves children. She has excellent recall, does not run away and was very easy to train. She has a strong KC pedigree. You will be able to see her with the puppies.

The sire, Gunner, is a small golden cocker with a phenomenal natural working ability who is a busy working dog with an excellent pedigree. He is well balanced and biddable with the all important ‘off’ switch. Temperament wise, Gunner has an incredibly affectionate, soft nature and is a pleasure to have within his family home too.

Both mother and father are AMS, FN and prdc-PRA clear which means the puppies will be too. They have been docked and working homes are preferred.

The puppies will go to their new homes with:

  • Enhanced five generation KC pedigrees,
  • Puppy Contract
  • Puppy Advice Sheet
  • Microchipped
  • Wormed and flea treated
  • Scent Blanket
  • Puppy food and
  • toys etc

We are looking for active, loving homes with outside space for our puppies and someone with time and commitment to bring them up as well balanced, confident and well behaved dogs like their parents.  Working homes are preferred and we will prioritise the best possible homes for them. If you think you can provide an excellent home please get in touch.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
