Singleton Spaniels
We are thrilled to announce a fantastic litter of gamekeeper-bred working Cocker Spaniel puppies. Our beautiful girl, Pip, has proudly delivered a lovely litter of six deep red puppies, all of whom are healthy and growing stronger every day.
This litter has been carefully bred with a strong emphasis on temperament, trainability and proven working ability, with an excellent pedigree containing numerous FTCH and FTW lines throughout. The puppies are marked similarly to their parents, being deep red with some white markings.
We have no doubt these puppies will make exceptional working dogs or active family companions. Their mother joins us throughout the shooting season for both picking up and beating, while also being a wonderful companion around our family farm all year round. She possesses the all-important “off switch” and is calm and relaxed in the home. Pip has always been a pleasure to handle, with an abundance of character, intelligence and a natural willingness to please. She has been obedient from a very young age and is highly biddable.
Dam (Mum): KENLEAP QUEEN OF HEARTS (Pip)
Pip is exceptionally well bred throughout the generations of her pedigree. She is by FTW Brechmarsh Hugh and out of one of our best bitches.
She is smaller than average in size, standing approximately 13 inches from floor to shoulder. Pip is fully health tested and clear for:
- FN
- AMS
- PRCD-PRA1
(Health test paperwork available upon request.)
As a result, all puppies will be hereditary clear for these conditions.
Sire (Stud): Utopiavalley Sovereign (Fin)
Fin is an average-sized dog with a strong, balanced build and a stylish head, which he consistently passes on to his offspring. He is a solid dark red with no white markings.
He works throughout the shooting season both in and out of water, undertaking both beating and picking up duties. During the summer months, he also competes successfully in scurries and is a recognised scurry champion.
Fully health tested and clear for:
- AMS
- DM
- EIC
- FN
- PRA-PRCD
- Glucose Storage Disease
Puppies Available
- 3 red bitches (all pups reserved contact us to be put on the waiting list for future litters)
Price
- Bitches – £1,500
The puppies were born on 27th March and will be ready to leave for their new homes from 22nd May.
Your Puppy Will Leave With:
- KC registration papers

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs
Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.
- Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
- Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
-
Verify all paperwork:
- Kennel Club (KC) registration number
- Date of birth
- Health screening results
-
Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
- Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
- Can I see where they were bred and raised?
- How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
- Was the birth natural or via C-section?
- Are there any known health issues?
- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
- Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
