Description
Pups are Docked/Chipped/Vet Checked/KC Reg/Reared Indoors to High Standard by Experienced Breeder.Ready to Leave from 7th July.
Sire is FTW/OFTAW Kerdat War Paint a very well known Blue Roan & Tan dog owned and trialled by Kerdat Gundogs.
(All trial results and details of this dog can be seen of the Facebook Page of Kerdat Gundogs)
Dam-Naxshivan Echo’s Quest is a home bred bitch and my 6th generation.
This is her 3rd litter and she has previously produced pups doing well both as beating/picking up dogs as well as agility/competing dogs, she’s a very good natured, laid back bitch meaning her pups are also suitable for active pet homes.
Dam-Mouse is extensively health tested and is clear for:
PRA, FN, AMS, AON, PP & PFK.
She is PLA Grade 0 June 2025 and has several years clear BVA Eye test certificates.
Sire-Paint again is clear for PRA, FN, AMS & PP as well as having clear BVA eye certificates and is tested PLA Grade 0 April 2024.
Mouse is a small bitch, weighing around 10kg and Paint is also small with a lighter frame than Mouse, I anticipate the pups being on the smaller side 10-12kgs as adults.
These pups have been bred and reared indoors along with having access to outside space and different surfaces every day from 4 weeks old.
I am at home with them for the full 8+weeks they are here and they have lots of interaction and handling every day from being born, they will be used to all household noises telly, washer, hoover etc as well as other adult dogs.
My pups are reared on WolfTucker Raw food & Goats Milk from being weaned with kibble (Royal Canin Medium Puppy) introduced in the last 2 weeks before leaving, for new owners that do not want to raw feed.
Pups are reared to a very high standard and I do not feed poor quality food or use cheap products.
They will be fully wormed with Panacur 10% puppy liquid and also vet checked with certificate prior to leaving.
It is unusual for me to have pups available but due to a dog heavy litter and people on my waiting list dropping out last minute I have dog pups only available.
I anticipate the pups all being roan or ticked, please bare in mind when viewing pictures it takes time for the roan/ticking to come through and it also does not show well on pictures/videos at this age.
Please feel free to contact with any questions on anything I have missed, thanks for looking.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs
Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.
- Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
- Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
-
Verify all paperwork:
- Kennel Club (KC) registration number
- Date of birth
- Health screening results
-
Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
- Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
- Can I see where they were bred and raised?
- How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
- Was the birth natural or via C-section?
- Are there any known health issues?
- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
- Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
