We have a beautiful KC registered cocker spaniel puppies, born 15th May 6 puppies, 1 dog and 5 bitches. Beautiful mixed coloured litter 1 lemon and white dog, 2 black bitches, 2 lemon and white bitches and 1 liver and white dogs.

We own mum who is our beautiful Black and Tan girl Xena, Xena is very much a big value to my partner’s gamekeeper team. Being a pleasure to own and train

We did own sire our very own Freddie of Florence our lemon and white dog. Who again was part of my partner’s gamekeeper team, Kes was my partners first gundog and was pleasure to own and train.

this litter was planned to keep 2 puppies back, we already have the half sister to this (same sire) which she’s already showing the potential for working as a picking up dog and possibly on the gamekeepers team. We also see that the half sister from Xenas previous litter which is worked on the beating line, as well as hear from the other sister that is worked picking up.
This is Xena’s second and last litter.
Both being gamekeeper dogs their jobs were anything from dogging in from the early days. To starting the season from August on the grouse, to middle of September on partridge and finishing on the pheasants. On a beautiful estate in the North Yorkshire moors
These puppies will make wonderful working, active companions.
These puppies have had the best start in life being brought up around the everyday family life of being round 2 almost 3 year olds, as well as getting use to the sounds of big machinery, every day household appliances. Puppies will be wormed at 3/5 and 7 weeks with pancur and flea treatment at 7 weeks. They will leave us with their first vaccination and with their microchip along with the relevant paperwork they will need and 5 weeks pet insurance.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs
Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
- Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
- Can I see where they were bred and raised?

- Was the birth natural or via C-section?
- Are there any known health issues?
- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
