I am excited to announce the safe arrival of 7 gorgeous cocker spaniel puppies. We currently have 1 black girl, 1 blue roan girls, 2 blue roan boys, 1 lemon roan and 1 lemon boy available to go to 5⭐️ homes. Mum Maize is a stunning cocker spaniel. She has such a loving temperament and is very good with our son. She is also an exceptional worker, she love to show off when she’s out working and couldn’t be happier bringing birds back to me. She is kennel club registered she is AMS, FN and prca-PRA clear. Shes also had her eyes tested which are grade 0 and unaffected. Mr Trig, dad, is the first dog me and my partner owned. He’s brilliant in every way and is best friends with our 3 year old son. They’ve been best friends since the day he was born it’s brilliant. Trig is excellent with children. He’s also is a brilliant worker and has a charming character. Trig is also kennel clubs registered and is Clear for AMS, FN and prca-PRA. The pups were born on the 5th of May. They will be ready to leave here on the 30th of June they will leave us upto date with flea treatment and worming, mircochip and the docking certificate from the vets. Kennel club paperwork and a health check certificate which is carried out at the vets. 1st vaccination, some food which they have been weaned onto, a comfort blanket and life time support from us. To secure a pup we do like to meet new owners and have a chat to check we are both 100% happy. Please consider getting a puppy carefully and do not rush into it, we only want our pups to join families and working homes who will give them the life they deserve. 🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
