we kept 3 pups from this litter and have now decided to let Weasel go, he has not been an easy dog to train, always eager to get going, not very patient and finds it hard to sit still, he is quiet in the kennel but does whine when you get another dog out to do work in the garden, and doesn't stop until you put the dog back. he is quiet in the car and travels well. walks to heel on and of the lead, hunts well, good recall, never self entertains.
he will work this September without doubt, He would be ok for beating or pickin up, but would not be ok as a peg dog at this stage. He retrieves fur and feather, canvas or dokken dummies, Tennis balls.
only selling because of the whinging but if he were to be let out at the same time as the others,There is no whingin , if he were an only dog or kept inside the house there would not be a problem. although I must state he has not ever lived inside so would need watching initially. His price is £1500.

- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
- Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
