I have a wonderful 4yo bitch from my original bitch bloodline who is available to the very best of homes due to a sudden relocation and being unable to take all my dogs. I bred this bitch & think the absolute world of her, in her work, in her temperament and in her ability.

Mainly used for picking up, which she loves, but also loves to hunt. If it is a slow day, she will just curl up in a ball until she hears the horn, but if she is on my peg, she watches the whole time. Works well with a team, but also will lap up the attention of being an only dog. She is just a delight, will kennel up with a buddy, or on her own, will be in the crate in the house (likes the house but isn't fully house trained), will ride in the back of the canam or in the dog box on the quad. Comes dogging in and works away quietly. Picks woodcock, duck, partridge, grouse, pheasant, snipe. Doesn't mind dummies, but its not her favourite thing. Wouldn't spit a bird out, but if she gets fed up with dummies, she will drop it at your feet. Silent to work. Barks in her crate if she needs a pee, but otherwise silent.

She isn't hot, can go a few weeks not working and will come out just the same, a line trait that I pride myself on. Has had puppies and was an exceptional mother. I have her own mother here also.

She is only for sale to the very best of homes, I will not let her go to just anyone. Transport may be available to the right person as far south as Birmingham in the coming weeks (March).

Safety Tips

Here are some tips to keep you safe whilst buying, selling or studding your dog.

Make sure you see the gun dog in person at the breeders location before you pay any monies.
Make sure you see the puppies with the Dam and possibly with the Sire if he is available.
Make sure you have checked all the paper is correct and checked the KC number and their dates of birth.
If something seems not right you can walk away, but make sure you ask lots of questions. Some examples could be: Did you breed the dog(s) yourself? Can I see where they were breed? Can I see the Dam? How old is the mother and how many litters has she had? Was the birth natural or C section? Can I see the farther? Does the dog in question have any health issues? Can you see the registration of the Dam and Sire? Will they be vaccinated and wormed before I purchase?
Always be vigilant and seek advice if you are unsure and ask for advice from a third party.
Only when you are absolutely sure about the dog and the breeder do we advise you go ahead with your purchase.
Buying a gun dog is YOUR responsibility so make sure you have done your homework about the breed of dog and the breeder who is selling. Don’t rush the process!
The breeder should give you the opportunity to see and handle all of the puppies in the litter, rather than the one you are buying.
The puppies should appear happy, healthily and inquisitive.
The breeder should not be selling puppies that are unwell or shows signs of illness like runny eyes or weakness or diarrhoea.
The breeder should only sell you the pup once they are 8 week old.
Make sure you see the puppies environment. Is the whelping pen clean? Do the dogs have clean water and food? All this helps you formulate your decision when purchasing the gun dogs in question.
Make sure you write up a contract to safe guard you and the breeder should your situations change.
Do not leave without the KC registration form. Make sure you have all the documents in your hand with the dog once payment is made.
Never buy a gun dog in a car park, always go to the breeder establishment.
