Description

2 black boys still available

Litter

2x black females - SOLD

1x yellow female - SOLD

2x yellow (fox red) males - SOLD

3 x black males - 1 Sold - 2 AVAILABLE

Mum (our dog, 4yo) and their Dad (stud dog, 3yo) are both Kennel Club registered with long lines of field trial champions and gun dog heritage. Mum lives with us as our family dog, so is available to view with them.

Mum is a black Labrador, a wonderful dog, very calm and friendly and is Kenxtwen Chinchilla.  She is fantastic with young children and our own pet cats. She takes everything in her stride and nothing fazes her. The pups have had lots of love and attention from our children, have met our cats and been carried out on the school run etc for socialisation. They have had a great start to life.

Dad is a fox red Labrador Dattelns Edges of Oak of Bellesbank. and his health scores are sound, we can share them on request.

We have taken pride in continuing these strong bloodlines of working Labradors.

The pups are microchipped, health checked, wormed and had flea treatment. We have started with toilet training and they are now weaned off their mum and onto Royal Canin puppy food and raw meat.

Pups will also come with a puppy blanket smelling of mum and the litter to help settle into their new home. Pups will also have Kennel Club insurance for first 5 weeks.

They are now 12 weeks old and are therefore available immediately. Do contact me for more information.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
