• TWO MALES REMAINING

Looking for a loving family to be an active pet or a working home!

FTCH in both bloodlines, Working/pet lines.

I have two boys looking for their forever homes. They’ve come from a stunning litter of fox red Labrador puppies and are ready to grow into loyal, loving companions, perfect for both first-time families and experienced owners. They have the potential to become working dogs, Field Trial Champions or active pets.

At seven weeks old, these little ones are  showing great promise. With their strong build and gentle temperaments, they are sure to grow into wonderful dogs, perfect for work, play, or simply as devoted family pets.

Mum (TEAL’S MIRACLE) is my lovely fox red Labrador, she’s not big making her the ideal size for any home. From a working line, her puppies would be suitable for either a family pet or for a working home. Her calm, kind nature shines through, and we expect her pups to follow suit.

Dad (SWIFTLANDS RIVER) is a home red dark yellow Labrador. He is beautifully built, well muscled and a lovely head. He is health tested & extremely biddable. He has plenty of drive for work but has an off switch and is naturally very calm around dogs and people. He is just starting his competition career and is showing massive promise. He completed his first two trials jan 23 & was placed in both. His temperament is second to non

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.

🧠 Final Thought

Buying a gun dog is your responsibility. Do your homework on both the breed and the breeder. Make sure your decision is informed, confident, and in the best interest of the dog.
