Description

Sired by FTCH Gunnerspeg Apollo  Who ran for England and  has had A DoM and 3rd Place in the IGL championships 

He has  already produced FtCh Rowpainter Orthello and many FTW at the age of 6, he has retired from UK competitions and now lives in Italy 

So this litter may be the last in the UK. 
 Apollo has many FtChs behind him including Drakeshead Casey and many with  awards at the IGL  he is DNA health tested  and has a current BVA clear eye test. 2/2 hips and 0/ 0 elbows 

 He is a strong medium sized dog with good  bone, a lovely head and kind sweet nature.

  Simon has a 16month old dog by Apollo  to carry into future competitions  keeping his line

Braitoft Audascious ( Lottie)  Has had four awards at working tests  3rd in a walk up and at Open level won the intermediate trophy 

 She has ran in two trials, but mainly picks up on three shoots 

She is fast athletic, but is wanting to please,  handles well and works with you, even on a free walk never to far away. She has a lovely tight hunt action and a great nose. 
 She lives in the house and happy to snuggle on the sofa, she loves being with you

She is CLEAR of Stargidt and Also DNA health tests  She has a current clear BVA eye test  and 5/3 hips 0/0 elbows. 

Her pedigree includes Beiley Aguzannis of Fendawood, Diglake  and Stauntonvale  

Boy pups for sale 

All pups will be hereditary  clear for most DNA tests, they are already KC registered and will have first vaccination  and MC, vet check before leaving at end of April  with worming to date

The boys have been brought up in a home environment but allowed access to kennel and outside areas. Seeing differant environments and textures. They have also been on a  car journey with more to follow soon

They have had social and interaction  skills since day 3, and have had lots of varied interactions with people, they have had sound effects and everyday house hold noises as well as various toys to play with. 

 They have played  and fed on their own, learning about solitude they also get enrichment from their  fellow littermates and mum who has been marvellous still playing  and teaching them to date 

They are all happy to pick up a ball and are very active, with their own Indivduality coming out now 

 I am keeping a bitch and two are going to homes of previous litter owners.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
