Proper KC working Labradors.

An exceptional litter of proper working Labradors.

Tel: 07762635079

As I own both the SIRE and DAM to the pups you will get a very good idea of the look and temperament of your pup if you decided to have one.

Having owned trained and worked Labradors for over 40 years I pride myself in breeding a proper working Labrador, with looks, good bone, and working ability. Although you may not want to work your new dog in the field, having the trainability bred into your pup make life so much easier for everyday training.

A little information about the Sire and Dam:

You can check the health status of both the Sire and the Dam by going on the Kennel Club website (Health Tests)

Both the sire and the dam are bred from health tested lines of labradors.

The Sire: black dog, KC Registered name:

SANDYCROOK ANGUILLA This dog is an outstanding worker, I would go as far as to say he is one of the best I have ever had.  You can see numerous videos and pictures of him and my other dogs by visiting my facebook / youtube shooting page (Action Hawks Action pigeons)

The Dam:  yellow bitch, KC Registered name:

HAVENBAULK GALINEERS This bitch is 5th generation of line bred dogs (HAVENBAULK)

She works with me when I shoot, working on average of between 2 and 3 days a week and loves every minute.

Again, you can see her and my other dogs working by visiting my facebook /youtube shooting page (Action Hawks action pigeons)

The pups have been wormed every fortnight, microchipped and fully vet checked at 4 weeks of age before being advertised. They will also be vet checked again at 8 weeks of age before leaving for their new homes. All paperwork is in place: 5 generation pedigree, microchipped document.

They will have been flea treated and will be up to date with their worming. I am also on the end of the phone if any advice is needed on training or general care.

The pups will be ready for their new home on  Friday 03/07/26 when they will be 8 weeks old. (DOB 08/05/26)

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
