Chocolate dual purpose Labrador Puppies, KC Registered from Health Tested parents

This is Chica’s 2nd litter and she’s and amazing contended loving mum. The puppies were born 11th June. 4 Girls & 3 boys.
Chica (Beverleywood Clovelly) is a highly intelligent, beautiful athletic Labrador with a wonderful temperament very calm and quite, she is eager to please and has a loving, gentle and affectionate nature.

Saint Laurence at Verrad (Webley) is without doubt, an exceptional genuine, working chocolate Labrador. His working ability is fantastic, fast and determined, but then he has a very gentle, affectionate temperament.
He has perfect hips and elbows both 0/0 Webley has been extensively health tested.

The puppies will be lovingly reared in a family environment where they will encounter a variety of situations, this will ensure they are well socialised and confident when they leave for their forever homes. If the puppies are anything like their parents, they will be easy to train and, incredibly keen to work or just please, and fabulously loving.
The puppies will be vet checked wormed every 2 weeks, micro chipped, and come with 5 weeks pet insurance, and a bag of puppy food. Lots of advice on feeding exercising etc, and a blanket with mum's/siblings smell to help them settle in.

Once on the reservation list we keep you up to date with their progress with regular video’s and photos. We actively encourage visits or can do video calls so you can feel confident and reassured with the environment the puppies are reared in and ask any questions. We are always happy to talk dogs and puppies!

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
