Description

Dogs and bitches available- red/yellow and black

We have the much anticipated litter from our perfect pairing of Nova and George, this litter is from fully health tested, Kennel Club registered parents. Pups will also be Kennel Club registered. We had the majority of homes lined up but as this is a large litter of 8 we are advertising to find the remaining homes. These pups will be dual purpose, suitable for working homes or for active family homes. Pups will be raised in a home environment with socialisation to children and other animals. They will leave microchipped, wormed, first vaccines (if applicable) and fully health checked by a vet. They will be weaned onto skinners puppy food, of which they will have a bag to take to their new homes. Come with a puppy pack with all paperwork, blanket that smells like mum and litter, bottle of pureflax (joint and coat supplement) and they will have five weeks free insurance with the kennel club.

Nova is my gorgeous working Labrador. She is an excellent example of what a Labrador entails. Drive, loyalty and biddability. She is brilliant both out in the field and at home with children. Nova is adored by everyone who knows her for her second to none temperament. She’s small in build and has great lines of working dogs. Above all she is my left arm, she has the most loving nature. She is eager to please and a dream to train. Nova is my first working dog and she has been incredibly forgiving of all of my mistakes as a first time gundog handler and made me desperate to have a pup from her which was the purpose of this litter. Nova’s puppies have taken a lot of interest from people who know her. This will be Nova’s first and final litter, she was never intended to be a breeding bitch and will never be just that.

George is our handsome stud. He is also a working gundog which was important to us when choosing the stud, we were very picky with the stud for our litter, George is a perfect match for Nova, having a similar temperament and beautiful conformation just like Nova. George is known for producing beautiful offspring, the pups will be a perfect mix of both parents.

We expect these puppies to make outstanding gundogs, or equally as outstanding family dogs for an active home.

We welcome anyone to come and meet the litter from 3 weeks of age, a non-refundable deposit of £350 will be taken once you’ve met and chosen your pup, the remaining cost will be taken on collection of your puppy at 8 weeks old. Once reserved you will receive regular updates and photos of your pup. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for more info and proof of health tests.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
