Munsterlander Puppies

County / Town: Glamorgan

Description

Beautiful Large Munsterlander puppies with an excellent pedigree

Our most beautiful boy is looking for his forever home after timewasters.

Stunning markings an absolute cracker! Main photo is of puppy!

Large Munsterlnders make fabulous family pets and a reliable hunting companion.

LMs are often described as an 'all round gundog', making them an ideal 'rough shooting' dog. Ideal for working in woodland, banking, rough cover and root fields, they will work steadily and thoroughly. The Large Munsterlander's love of water makes it a good duck or wildfowling gundog. They have excellent natural ability for tracking and retrieving wounded game, giving them great popularity as a 'deer dog'.

Our gorgeous, fun, brave puppies looking for their forever home. Bred from top-quality parents Sh Ch Crumpsbrook Woodrush Large Munsterlander Dog of the Year 2023 x Albadhu Walk In The Park.

The litter will be well socialised, brought up in a loving home with all the household sounds, other dogs, and lots of visiting young children. Puppies will be reared to a high standard, including ENS and they will be carefully prepared for their new and forever homes. We send regular updates and videos via WhatsApp so you can see the puppies as they progress.

They will be ready to leave for their forever homes at 8 weeks of age, from 22nd March.
They will be KC registered with endorsements, wormed, microchipped and each will have an individual puppy pack together with a lifetime of support.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.

🧠 Final Thought

Buying a gun dog is your responsibility. Do your homework on both the breed and the breeder. Make sure your decision is informed, confident, and in the best interest of the dog.
