Description
Exceptional litter of springer spaniels. Our one and only litter out of our bitch, Mia. 3 black and white boys available, and 2 liver and white boys. Legally docked with dew claws removed. Beautiful markings, and fantastic temperaments to match, they are bold, brave, and willing to learn. Plenty of fantastic trialing dogs throughout both sides of their pedigree. Reared on a smal holding they will have seen sheep, horses, and plenty of other dogs.
Puppies will leave with:
✅️ All paper work (kc registration and docking certificate)
✅️ Microchipped and first vaccination
✅️ Scented blanket and toy, bag of food, and a range of treats which they will have been gradually introduced to here.
✅️ Puppies already have a fantastic understanding of house training, which I will continue to develop until they leave.
✅️ They'll leave with a good basic level of crate training.
✅️ Good at travelling in a car for short journeys.
✅️ Basic understanding of a recall whistle.
✅️ Used to a variety of household, and exterior nosies, sights and smells.
Mia is a much loved member of our team. She has a lovely relaxed manner in the house. She's an exceptional working dog and always complimented when out beating for the style, pace, and boldness she hits the thickest of cover. We're also a working game farm, and Mia is always the dog I have out with me, she will happily sit outside the sheds while I'm doing jobs, as well as getting the birds in of an evening. Mia is health tested, and had full CT scan prior to breeding.
Mia's health tests:
Clear for: PRA (Cord1), Fucosidosis, AMS, PFKD, FN, SPS
Eyes - Clear
Gonio - PLA grade 1
Elbows - 0/0
Hips 3/4 (7)
Ice, the sire, is used regularly for picking up, again bold in the thickest of cover. He's biddable with a fantastic off switch.
Ice's health tests:

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs
Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.
- Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
- Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
-
Verify all paperwork:
- Kennel Club (KC) registration number
- Date of birth
- Health screening results
-
Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
- Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
- Can I see where they were bred and raised?
- How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
- Was the birth natural or via C-section?
- Are there any known health issues?
- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
- Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
