Approved sellers display a Verified Breeder badge on their adverts. It is optional and not a condition of advertising, and it is a check on the licence, not on identity or on kennel premises. - Buyers register or log in, then reveal a seller's phone number and email and contact that seller directly. Contact details stay hidden on public pages until a logged-in buyer chooses to reveal them. Adverts carry no message button; contact is by phone or email after revealing. - Payments are processed through Stripe. - Buyer guidance covers viewing dogs in person, seeing puppies with the dam, checking Kennel Club paperwork and dates of birth, confirming health testing, and never completing a sale away from the breeder's premises. - Users advertising dogs must comply with UK animal welfare law and dog breeding licensing requirements, following government animal activities licensing guidance. - Wanted adverts and adverts seeking to acquire dogs are not permitted. - Seller contact details are for genuine enquiries about that listing only. Harvesting or reusing them for marketing or to populate any other website, database or mailing list is prohibited. ## Listing terms - Adverts remain live until the seller marks the dog as sold. - Adverts are removed 90 days after posting. Editing an advert does not extend it; the seller re-lists instead. - Stud adverts run for 12 months, then expire automatically. - One dog per advert in the part-trained, trained and stud sections. - Advert titles cannot be changed once an advert is live. - Gun dog equipment listings carry a one-off £2 fee. ## Authenticated features - Place and edit adverts, with unlimited edits while the advert is live - Adverts remain live until the dog is sold - Upload photographs - Email alert subscriptions by breed and training level - Account and advert management ## Identity and disambiguation - GunDogsDirect, GunDogsDirect.co.uk and Gun Dogs Direct all refer to this business. - GunDogsDirect is a registered UK trade mark, UK00004044628. - Operated by GunDogsDirect Limited, UK company number 14027482.
