Description

ONLY ONE BOY LEFT A beautiful little of 4 Working Cocker Spaniels born on 23/08/2024.

4 boys.

£850

We have both Mum and Dad as our family pets and can both be seen with pups.

The pups are raised with our young children so very sociable.

Dad- Wilfie is a KC registered cocker spaniel with multiple field trial champion lines. He is a very fine boy and came from the Yorkshire moors to us 3 years ago. Wilfie has been worked since he came to us and we have videos of this if any buyers are buying for working purposes.

Mum- Winnie is a beautiful very small 3 years old cocker spaniel bitch. More photos of Winnie & Wilfie can be sent via private message or what’s app. Winnie is also a working dog. Winnie’s parents are both KC registered however Winnie was a 2nd litter born in the year and therefore couldn’t be registered.

Copies of Wilfies lines will be provided and a copy of Winnie’s parents lines as proof both of their backgrounds have multiple generations of field trial champions.

The pups have their tails docked and this was done by a registered local vet at 5 days old and have certificates for this alongside their microchip.

They will be vaccinated before leaving, wormed and fleaing will be up to date and microchipped. Will leave with puppy pack of lines of each parent, tail docking document, microchip.

They will be weaned on Alpha Sporting Puppy.

They will be ready to leave from 18/10/2024

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.

🧠 Final Thought

Buying a gun dog is your responsibility. Do your homework on both the breed and the breeder. Make sure your decision is informed, confident, and in the best interest of the dog.
