Description

We currently have 4 beautiful puppies looking for their forever homes in October  🐶

We are delighted to announce that Dot has had a healthy litter of 8 Sprocker puppies from health tested, working parents! 4 boys & 4 girls with a lovely mix of lemon and lemon & white.

🐾 Dam – Dot

Our lemon & white Sprocker (KC Registered Working Cocker sire x Sprocker dam). Dot is affectionate, intelligent and highly biddable, with an excellent temperament around children, horses and other animals. A proven working dog who placed in a Working Test in 2023, she regularly picks up, beats and sits on peg, while having a fantastic off-switch at home.

🐾 Sire – Salix Jager Of Silva

Sunny is a small golden KC Registered Working Cocker Spaniel with excellent natural working ability and a kind, affectionate temperament. He regularly picks up and beats throughout the shooting season and retrieves pigeons during the summer, while being equally happy relaxing at home.

Health & rearing

✔️ Health-tested parents, including clear DNA test results and current eye examinations — certificates available on request
✔️ Raised in our family home, with lots of handling and socialisation
✔️ Veterinary docked with certificate
✔️ Working homes welcome, with suitable pet homes also considered
✔️ Born August 2026
✔️ Ready to leave in October 2026

As the puppies are still very young, we’re currently getting to know prospective owners through friendly chats.

It’s a lovely opportunity for us to hear a little more about you, your lifestyle and what you’re looking for in a puppy, while you can ask us any questions and find out more about the puppies and us!

First visits will be from around 4 weeks old, when you’ll be able to meet the puppies in person, see them with Mum and watch their little personalities start to develop.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
