Description
Due to an unavoidable house move and downsizing, it is with a heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my lovely KC registered GSP, Myla (born January 2022, registered as Kenzduo Crystal Breeze). This is a very reluctant sale of a much-loved dog who will be sorely missed.
Myla is a part-trained GSP who has spent time out on local shoot days, picking up both partridge and pheasant. She has bags of natural instinct and enthusiasm; while she's not a difficult dog, she can sometimes get a bit carried away whilst sweeping when the excitement gets to her she will travel ahead to far sometimes so she'd suit an active working home or an experienced handler who can channel all that drive. On the positive side, she loves traveling, making her an easy companion to load up and take out on the road.
She comes from fantastic working lines (with imported Von Den Donau-Wirbeln bloodlines on her sire's side and an exceptional, health-friendly low inbreeding coefficient of just 1.3%, well below the breed average).
Back at home and away from the shoot environment, she has fantastic basic manners: she will sit to the stop whistle, walks nicely to heel, and listens well when hunting. She is equally versatile living in or out—she has spent time living both indoors and outdoors, and settles wonderfully in either environment.
Above all, Myla has a heart of gold. She is absolutely fantastic with children of all ages and gets along brilliantly with other dogs.
Whether she goes to a shooting home to finish her training or to an active pet home that can offer her the exercise and stimulation she needs, she will make a wonderful, loyal companion.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs
Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.
- Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
- Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
-
Verify all paperwork:
- Kennel Club (KC) registration number
- Date of birth
- Health screening results
-
Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
- Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
- Can I see where they were bred and raised?
- How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
- Was the birth natural or via C-section?
- Are there any known health issues?
- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
- Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
