🏡 READY NOW

Following a beautifully reared litter of 9, we have just 3 exceptional German Shorthaired Pointer (GSP) boys available and ready for their forever homes. The puppies have been raised with the free run of our busy country kitchen and lounge. They have been constantly handled, loved, and socialised by our four children Living in the countryside, they have on-demand access to a grass play patch and are completely unfazed by country life, regularly hearing and smelling tractors, machinery, and animals. They are confident, well-rounded, and beautifully adapted to household noises. Their Temperament: These three remaining boys truly have the best personalities. Within the litter, they have been the perfect "middle-of-the-road" pups—gentle, calm, and very much "go with the flow." They aren't pushy or demanding; instead, they are affectionate, steady, and highly adaptable. They will make incredible family companions or loyal partners for outdoor adventures.

🏆 The puppies also have some fantastic heritage behind them, with their great-grandparents having achieved both Show Champion and Field Champion titles, combining beautiful breed type with strong working ability in their bloodlines. Both parents are KC registered and much-loved, very gentle, and deeply nurturing family pets. Both Mum and Dad come from homes with 4 children, giving them naturally calm, patient, and bombproof temperaments. They have strong classic GSP features, fantastic instincts, and are sure to have passed on their gentle temperaments to the litter. Mum had all health checks prior to breeding. She had a text book pregnancy, delivering 9 healthy pups. All 9 pups were born at an excellent, healthy weight and they have been remarkably quick to hit all their developmental milestones. They are already being introduced to toilet training and are showing fantastic consistency using their designated toilet area. Raised in a bustling household, they are extremely well-socialised with people, children, and all standard domestic household sounds. They will leave us confident, bold, and perfectly prepared for their forever homes 🐾

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
