Delighted to have this very exciting and special litter on the ground.
Sire: Sh Ch Caldewriver Cold as Ice
Dam: M-Frivilje at Cappercleugh (imp Nor)
Grandparents on both sides are Show Champions on the sire side and Dual Champions on the Dams side.
The dam was imported two years ago, has had great success in the show ring, including 3 class wins at Crufts in 2 attendances as well as multiple Special Beginners group placings and wins at championship shows.
The sire needs no introductions, his show record speaks volumes in his Show Champion status. His full sister is currently GWP of the Year, as she was for the 2025 season also.
Outside of the ring, both parents work. The dam trials, as well as being a very capable dog in the shooting line. She picks up, rough shoots, tracks deer. Picks feather & fur without any questions, she is formidable and trainable. The sire works deer and has started on his pointing career, proving steady and careful. He suits the lowground, whereas the dam suits hill ground with her open and wide running ability.

Homes should be active, ideally in the show or shooting world and have experience of HPRs. If no past experience, they must prove that they have the right trainers and assistance for their puppy.
Puppies will be KC reg, microchipped and Vet Checked. They will come with contracts in place and a lifetime of support from me.
Dogs and Bitches available - puppies will be matched to owners preference but mainly to my opinion on the home and suitability of the character of each puppy as they grow.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs
Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.
- Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
- Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.

Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
- Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
- Can I see where they were bred and raised?
- How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
- Was the birth natural or via C-section?
- Are there any known health issues?
- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
- Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
