1 male available out of extensively health tested, proven working parents, both parents have fantastic temperaments. 

Summer is our fox red shade of yellow KC registered Labrador bitch. She has a fantastic calm and kind temperament. She is easy to live with and enjoys any form of training we offer her. Summer is also one of our beating dogs, although we don't regularly work our dogs twice a month through the season, she isn't shy of hard cover or water and will happily pick up birds. 

She is fully health tested: Hips 5/4 Elbows 0/0 Eyes: BVA Clear Feb 2024 DNA: PRA: Carrier, CNM, EIC, SD2, HNPK, STGD, MCD, HUU & DM: CLEAR. 

The stud we have chosen is a working type Labrador who is a lovely fox red shade of yellow, he has a fantastic temperament & is a very good working dog. 

Tam is also fully health tested: Hips: 6/4 Elbows: 0/0 Eyes: BVA Clear - April 2024 DNA: PRA, CNM, EIC, SD2, HNPK, STGD, MCD & MANY MORE: CLEAR. 

Our puppies will be KC registered, vaccinated subject to our vets vaccinations matching, microchipped, weaned onto a high quality complete raw diet & will leave with a lifetime of advice and support from us, the communication does not end when you collect your puppy, we are always on the end of the line! Our puppies are always raised in our family home with our other dogs and they will be exposed to all household noises, TV, radio, hoover, kitchen noises, cats, chickens etc. 

They will have their nails clipped weekly from birth, be will be weaned correctly & eating from their own bowls by the time they leave. They will also have car journeys with Summer who is fantastic in the car. They will be taken outside regularly when old enough & will also be exposed to many different household noises.

For every litter we have bred, we have been complimented numerous times by a wide range of people, including vets from all over the UK, for how well socialised our puppies are. They will come with a puppy pack, including a weeks supply of food, toys, a blanket that smells of mum & siblings, 5 weeks free insurance & their paperwork. 

We also have a private page to join where you can watch their full siblings grow up & see half siblings from Summer’s previous litters. 

All puppies leave our home endorsed for breeding and endorsements will be lifted under strict terms. Endorsements will only be lifted on males if they are tested clear for PRA before leaving us at the buyers expense.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
