This is Gus. Gus is the pride of our working pack. Coming up to 3 years old, Gus has proven himself to be everything you could want from a Labrador. He is big. He is strong. He is fast. Gus is very sturdy dog - he is 36kg (lean!), muscular and has a large, broad head.

Gus has so much drive, be it for working in the field through the shooting season, or training in the off season with dummies. Everything he retrieves he does so with maximum effort, 100% of the time. He hunts hard, but listens when in the field too, taking directions/commands as needed. He has been an absolute pleasure to train and work with.

He is a very biddable dog and wants only to please. He has a fantastic off switch and is quiet in kennel (though you will often find him snoozing on the sofa with our little girl too!).

Gus comes from a long lineage of successful working dogs. He is the son of 2022 IGL Champion, Turpingreen Bohol. It's not hard to see why he has turned out to be such a fantastic dog, considering his pedigree. Gus has had some success in working tests himself and I have high hopes and expectations for him over this coming Test season.
