Quality Working Springer Spaniel – Proven Picker-Up / Potential Detection Dog
Grenofen bred Springer Spaniel bitch from good old-fashioned Irish working lines. She has completed part of the last two seasons picking up on a very large commercial shoot, where she has proven herself to be a fantastic game finder who works hard and honestly in a team of dogs.
She has not had formal gundog training (no directionals, casting etc.), but she is steady to sit and wait for a retrieve, has a reliable recall, and shows plenty of natural ability and drive. A straightforward, keen worker who enjoys her job.
Such an easy dog to own.
She is excellent with other dogs, happy living in the house or kennels, and is quiet and settled in the kennel. Easy to manage, sensible, and well socialised.
Given her nose, work ethic, and biddable nature, she would also make an excellent detection or search dog in the right hands.
