Description

Beautiful litter of red/golden working cocker spaniels, KC registered and raised in our family home around young children and other dogs.

Our beloved cocker spaniel Copper has delivered 6 beautiful puppies consisting of 3 boys and 3 girls.

Born on 16th September 2026, they will likely be ready to join their new homes around 11th November.

We are looking for responsible owners that understand the needs and commitments of owning a cocker spaniel.

Both parents are working dogs and come from excellent working lines with FTC throughout their pedigree. The pedigree of both parents is available to see upon viewing of the puppies.

Copper (Dam) is a very well tempered and intelligent dog that has a great working desire and is worked regularly. Copper is very much a part of our family and is great with our own young children. She is a very attentive mother and has been a brilliant mother so far.

Smudge (Sire) is a well tempered dog and works regularly as well as living on a working farm.

With the working heritage within, these puppies have the potential to become great working dogs, companions and most importantly, a part of the family. We are hopeful to find the right owners that can provide lots of time and the right training to ensure these puppies reach their full potential and have the best possible life.

Each puppy will have:
- Kennel Club Registration (with the five weeks free KC insurance)
- microchip
- veterinary health check
- worming and flea treatments
- first vaccination
- nails trimmed

We look forward to meeting prospective new families/ owners.

Please get in touch to arrange a viewing and ask any further questions.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
