Description

We have a stunning litter of strong, healthy liver and white Kc registered German Wirehaired Pointer puppies now looking for their own family. Puppies are large robust puppies from health tested parents. Puppies will be ready to leave at 10 weeks old (early January) after their second vaccination. They have been wormed from 2 weeks of age, fully vaccinated, Kennel club registered, 4 weeks free insurance, a puppy pack with food and other bits to get you started. By the time they are 10 weeks old, training will be well underway for lead, crate, house and recall.

One Female and two males available.

Sire: Albeit is a large handsome liver ticked boy of Germanus breeding, his Dam is a Russian import. He is a very built lad with the most laidback personality. He has done well in the show ring having received a ticket and several reserve BIS. He has a hip score of 3.3 and elbow score of 0.0, he is hereditary clear for Vwd2.

Dam: Jäger has a strong working pedigree bred by Huntstaff, she is great granddaughter of FT CH Trudvang Balder and FT CH Birkemosen’s Petre. She is very typical of the GWP in energy and temperament. She has a keen nose and bags of prey drive. She is very much a family pet but would be just as happy working the field. She has done well in both gundog and agility training. She has a hip score of 2.3 and elbow score of 0.0, she is also hereditary clear for Vwd2 which means the puppies are hereditary clear too.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
