Labrador Puppies

We have a beautiful litter of KC Registered Labrador puppies looking for their loving new homes. We have 1 golden boy, 5 black boys and 3 black bitches available to choose from. The puppies will be ready to leave for their new homes from the first weekend of September.

Our puppies are being raised in a loving family home and are receiving lots of handling, attention and early socialisation from the beginning. They are growing up around adults, children and other dogs, giving them a wonderful start and helping them to develop into confident, well-rounded companions.

Both parents are much-loved family pets and proven working gun dogs. They have excellent retrieving instincts, a natural desire to work and a willingness to please. The puppies have been bred with working ability, temperament and trainability in mind and should make excellent prospects for active homes, particularly those looking for a Labrador with the potential to become a retrieving or working companion in the field. They will also make wonderful family pets.

The sire has been health tested, and his health-test results are available to serious enquiries on request.

The puppies will leave for their new homes KC registered, microchipped, vaccinated, regularly wormed and with 5 weeks’ insurance. Each puppy will also leave with a puppy pack to help them settle into their new home.

We have put a great deal of care into giving these puppies the best possible start in life. They are handled regularly and introduced to a range of everyday experiences, with their individual personalities beginning to shine through.

We are looking for loving, responsible and active homes where these puppies will be cherished as family members for life and, where appropriate, given the opportunity to develop their natural retrieving and working abilities.

If you are interested in one of our puppies, please get in touch for further information, photographs and to arrange a visit. We are keen to find the right home for each puppy and are happy to answer any questions about the litter, their parents and their upbringing.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?

  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.

  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.

  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.

  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
