Description

**NOT FOR SALE, STUD ADVERT ONLY**

CHAMPIONSHIP WINNER 2024/25, FTCH ROSEBAY BLUE (TYSON).

First dog to win the championships with full health tests, Hips and Elbows scored. Field Trial Championship Winner ROSEBAY BLUE known as Tyson, who won the championships in 2024/25, the first dog to win in over 11years, and also the first dog to win it on ICE in the past 20years, there has only been 4 dogs to win the championships before him and they can all be seen in his pedigree.

In his pedigree you will see several championship winners - MOUNTVUE HEIDI 2020. HELMSWAY HEATH 2014 (the last dogs to win the champ). ROSEBAY BELLA 2009. MOONREED FLUSH 2002. STEADROC SKER 2001. RYTEX RIME 1997. MOONREED AMY 1996. SUNNYBRAE SISKIN 1995. CORTMAN LANE 1986.

Tyson comes from an incredible lineage, which has already produced some fantastic and trainable dogs. I have known Tyson for quite a long time, I have managed to work with Tom and purchased him for our kennels.

A great asset to our breed programme. He is such an easy dog to train according to Tommy, who is an amateur trainer, he seemed to fall in to place, a natural dog who has seemed to be throwing this into his pups.

The dog himself has one of the nicest natures, incredibly easy and a pleasure to own. This he has been throwing through to his lineage. When you are looking at breeding always look at the bitch line, in Tyson his line is very special, and has achieved so much, and seems to be throwing lots of traits from his mum.

ALL BITCHES MUST HAVE AN OVULATION TEST BEFORE MATING.

If you would like more information please do call, you don’t need to own a competition bitch, he can happily go to good shooting bitches, I believe he will compliment most bitches, but if you would like to contact we can talk it through.

There will be videos of Tyson working up on our YouTube soon, so keep an eye out.

£1000 INCLUDES VAT.

2 MATINGS AND CONTRACT, OVULATION REQUIRED BEFORE MATINGS CAN BE DONE.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs

Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.

  • Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
  • Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.
  • Verify all paperwork:
    • Kennel Club (KC) registration number
    • Date of birth
    • Health screening results
  • Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
    • Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
    • Can I see where they were bred and raised?
    • How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
    • Was the birth natural or via C-section?
    • Are there any known health issues?
    • Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
    • Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
  • If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
  • Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
  • Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
  • Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
  • You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
  • Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
  • Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
  • Is the whelping pen clean?
  • Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
  • The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
  • Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
  • Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
  • Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.

🧠 Final Thought

Buying a gun dog is your responsibility. Do your homework on both the breed and the breeder. Make sure your decision is informed, confident, and in the best interest of the dog.
