Pedro is turning into a gorgeous boy, he has a kind sweet nature that just wants to please. He has slowly started his basic training and is getting along well with it. He will make a great addition to any family household or to any working team.
This lovely litter of C/S are to die for, they love to be with you, are caring, kind puppies that just love to play and please you. They are eager to learn and are growing up to be perfect spaniels. They have grown to be just like their mother.
Mother Lottie (OFTAW Clearmeadow Daphne). She is an exceptionally pretty dog, medium to light frame and weighing about 10 to 11 kg. This is her first litter and we have chosen to use Will Clulee Dog Max in order to expand our breeding lines, he is also now 11 and it is an ideal opportunity to have used him while he is still able to produce Puppies. Lottie is by our lovely Stud Dog Mallowdale Foden ( Mickey) to my champion Bitch Silk. She is a very hard-hunting doG, stylish and focused. She was awarded third place in an Open Cocker Field Trial at her first competition. Lottie is an exceptionally stylish moving Dog with a heart of gold and an excellent nose for finding game. She is extremely athletic and an absolute joy to own, very loyal and has been a pleasure to train. This is her first litter and we are very excited to see how they do. In fact I suspect we will be keeping at least 2 to train ourselves.
Sired by the handsome Max (FTCH Poolgreen Diesel). Won first time out 20-1-17 at the Shropshire Gundog Society. Max has an impeccable pedigree bringing back some old lines that are not seen anymore –F.T.CH Larford Evan by artificial insemination. Made up to a Field trial Champion in only 4 trials, he is a stunning dog to watch work, head down and tail going like mad – always eager to work. Qualified for the 88th Cocker Spaniel Championship 2018.

🐶 Buyer’s Checklist for Gun Dogs
Whether you’re buying, selling, or studding a dog, it’s essential to take the right steps to protect yourself—and the animals involved.
- Always meet the dog in person at the breeder’s home or kennel—never agree to buy without seeing them first.
- Ask to see the puppies with their Dam (mother), and the Sire (father) if available.

Verify all paperwork:
- Kennel Club (KC) registration number
- Date of birth
- Health screening results

Prepare questions to ask the breeder. Some helpful ones include:
- Did you breed the dog(s) yourself?
- Can I see where they were bred and raised?
- How old is the Dam, and how many litters has she had?
- Was the birth natural or via C-section?
- Are there any known health issues?
- Can I see documentation for both Dam and Sire?
- Will the puppy be vaccinated and wormed before purchase?
- If something feels off, walk away. Don’t ignore red flags.
- Ask for advice from a trusted third party if you’re unsure.
- Take your time. This is a big decision—don’t rush it.
- Puppies should appear happy, healthy, clean, and curious.
- You should be allowed to see and handle all puppies in the litter, not just the one you're considering.
- Never buy a puppy younger than 8 weeks old.
- Avoid any puppies that show signs of illness—e.g. runny eyes, weakness, or diarrhoea.
- Is the whelping pen clean?
- Do the dogs have access to fresh water, clean food, and adequate space?
- The living conditions can say a lot about the breeder’s standards.
- Ensure you receive the KC registration form and all relevant documents at the time of payment.
- Write up a simple contract to protect both buyer and seller—especially important in case circumstances change.
- Never agree to buy a puppy in a car park or public place. Always go to the breeder's premises.
